The WAVEView OMC product is ’s client/server Operations & Maintenance Center (OMC), a combined OMC-R and OMC-S, managing and provisioning GSM networks. As a result the WAVEView OMC provides total management of ’s wireless access network elements in a uniform, efficient and cost-effective manner. As an Operations and Maintenance Center, it provides value-added management functions for ’s Wireless networks. |

WAVEView OMC is an operations and maintenance center (OMC) for wireless networks of components. |

It enables operators to configure, control and maintain complex 850 MHz, 900 MHz,1800 MHz or |
|
1900 MHz networks using a Graphical User Interface (GUI). |
|
The OMC GUI functions as the central control that allows users to examine, configure, and modify the BSS and NSS network elements. |

The convenient Region Map displays network elements as icons |
|
together with the major Abis, A, and trunk interfaces. |
|
The OMC provides a number of different functions for products including: |

The OMC client-server architecture and object-oriented technology provide a robust |

All WAVEView OMC servers run the Sun Solaris operating system with an Oracle database. |

Northbound interfaces to 3rd party NMS equipment for alarms, performance statistics and |
|
configuration parameters are provided in ASCII format. |
